It Started With A Meme…

As I was randomly scrolling through instagram I came across one that said, “At 35 you either get really into WWII history and submarine novels… or you start smoking meats”. Well, it’s pretty easy to see the direction that I went, HA! It’s been a lot of fun and turns out it’s a hobby that is a win-win for the entire family. I’ve spent countless hours researching recipes, mixing my own sauces and hours upon hours tending to my smoker. But as much as I like the act of making BBQ myself, I love taking my family out to new BBQ restaurants and discovering pit masters that are doing big things in our community. So one day during our global cooties outbreak, I decided to pair my professional skills on the internet with my love of BBQ and created this site, The BBQ Bay.

The BBQ Bay is the #1 source for amazing BBQ in the greater Tampa Bay area. Our reviews are created by verified real people and we are constantly updating the locations in our database so you confidence that when you spend your hard-earned money to take your family out, you’re going to a great place.
